NEW Feature Highlight

An exciting new feature is the Student Grouping option! This feature enables teachers to create customized groups for specific students, allowing them to assign content and organize student work effectively. By utilizing the student grouping feature, you can tailor your instruction to meet your students' diverse needs, which can enhance their engagement and boost academic success.

Creating and Assigning to Groups:

  • Create groups in the Classes Module by selecting the Add Group button

  • Make edits to groups by selecting the name in the Group Column

  • Assign resources to a group by selecting Assign To and Groups in the Assign Modal

NEW — For those rostered through Google Classroom and who are using the “Sign In with Google” option:

Teachers can now assign to individual students. When creating an assignment, choose your class, then toggle off the “Open to any students” slider.

Next, click on “Select Students” and click the checkbox next to the student(s) you want to receive the assignment.

The assignment will now only show up in Google Classroom and in GO! for those particular students.

Bonus — The “Release to Google” option is now automatically turned on when you create an assignment (you can still turn it off if you don’t want it to show up in Google Classroom).

Trainer Tip!

When adding annotations to a PDF resource, it’s important for your students to save their text before exiting or submitting. To do this, simply select the green checkmark to the left of your text box, or click anywhere outside of the text box. This action ensures that your students’ notes are saved.

Once saved, the outline of the text box will no longer be visible. Always have your students double-check that their text appears before closing the resource!
